Christmas Greetings ~ 2018

πŸŽ„Christmas greetings from the Ogles! πŸŽ„

December has been quite busy with fun things, travel to visit our families and preparing for numerous celebrations, so for the first time in many years I won’t be mailing out the traditional Christmas Cards this year.

We are thankful for those who have continued the tradition and we have smiled when opening and while reading each card that we received in the mail.  It truly warms our hearts to be remembered by our friends and family each year in this way!

In reflection of this past year and as 2018 comes to a close, we are truly thankful for another year held in His hands, for the opportunity to grow in grace and knowledge and for the special gift of sharing this journey through life with our precious family.  We are thankful for our treasured friends who are near and far away, for the laughter and joy we share each day and for our little farm here in Texas.

One of the highlights for us this year was our family vacation. Our family was able to spend the entire week together at a beautiful cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.  We enjoyed our time there together surrounded by the quietness of nature.  Well . . considering there were 10 of us, quite a few late night air hockey and foosball games from the upstairs loft and a lot of craziness throughout the cabin, I will say we had “some” quiet time each day. 😊

We went swimming, boating and tubing in the crystal clear Broken Bow Lake. We raced go karts, visited a petting zoo, enjoyed hot tub time, movie night and shopping. We grilled dinner in the evenings and made s’mores by the fire.  We enjoyed ice cream and coffee treats at the Oakie Girls coffee house. We played countless exciting and very competitive corn hole tournaments and let’s just say Maw and Paw may not hold the championship title but we can certainly liven up the game.  We walked, hiked, biked, fished, played games & had puzzle time.  We went on a Zip Line Adventure and finished out the week by going on a 5 mile Kayak/Canoe trip down the river.  This excursion and river adventure was our favorite!  Although, considering a few mishaps along the way, some of our group might not agree. πŸ˜‚

Praying the miracle and wonder of this season will remain with you throughout the coming year and that you will feel His peace, love and joy “in” and “through” all things along the way.

πŸŽ„πŸŽOur Christmas Message Thoughts πŸŽ„πŸŽ

“And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.”
Luke 1:38

And HE shall be called
Wonderful Counselor
Mighty God
Everlasting Father
Prince of Peace

HE will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for He will be great in the sight of the Lord.

In Him was life, and that light is the LIGHT of all mankind.

May we bring light, life and love into our world.
Spend time with those you LOVE and LOVE on those who would never expect it! ❤️

Wishing you and your family a
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! πŸŽ„πŸŽŠ
